Jessica and Chris will be celebrating 20 years of marriage this year. They have two daughters, Skyler and Brooklyn, and call Boerne home. Like many families, they moved to Boerne to provide their children with the very best public education. They also care for and support their spiritual daughter, Natalya, who is currently attending college in Ukraine. They are members of Oak Hills Church.

Way before social media, there was the newspaper's Letter to the Editors. Jessica was a junior in high school when she wrote this Letter to the Editor published on April 14, 1993, in the Corpus Christi Caller-Times. The letter reflects the CCISD Board of Trustees' decision to cut funding in math and science departments. Even then, as a high school student, she kept herself informed and wrote letters to the newspaper's editor to bring awareness to the issues impacting public schools.
Today, Jessica owns a public relations and executive coaching firm.
Jessica holds both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Psychology of Organizational Development, Behavior, and Leadership from the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW - San Antonio, TX). She received her CPEC (Certified Personal and Executive Coaching) certification from the CaPP Institute in Peachtree City, Georgia. She is a graduate of the LBJ Women’s Campaign School at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. She was selected as one of fifty women in the United States for the inaugural class.
Jessica was honored as UIW's Alumni of Distinction of the Year (2015) and was the UIW's Campus Ministry Award honoree (2004). In Corpus Christi, she was inducted into the Del Mar College Wall of Honor, the community college she attended in her hometown.
Jessica is involved in the Boerne community! Jessica is a neighborhood host for Bible Club/RECESS (Oak Hills Church) during the summers.
She is a proud school volunteer, from selling candy to serving as a two-term president of the CHS choir booster board to currently serving on the Boerne Education Foundation Board. Jessica leads with a servant's heart.
Jessica serves on the American Red Cross Hill Country Chapter Board and its Diversity Committee. Jessica is a graduate of Leadership Texas, Leadership San Antonio, and is in the current Leadership Boerne class. Jessica's small business is a proud member of the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce.
During the onset of the pandemic, Jessica and her neighbors created and championed a BISD neighborhood school spirit campaign throughout the district. The campaign's goal was to show appreciation for BISD and its students, teachers, and schools during the stay-at-home orders.
She and her daughters decorated their porch as a sign of unity and encouragement for the neighborhood students and children. Jessica also led a Class of 2020 spirit initiative in her neighborhood.
Jessica and her youngest daughter are members of the National Charity League - Boerne|Fair Oaks Chapter.
Jessica has been recognized internationally, nationally, and locally for her achievements in community service.
